documentation for MoveToEdge says that edges are both screen edges and other window edges which is not the behaviour i want. i wanted to move windowsexclusively to screen edges and to screen center (which i could have accomplished with MoveToCenter). anyway, this approach seemed more logical to me
First I have the ordinaty multimediakeys mapped to ossvol (in AUR) and mpc. But that is described in one of the above posts.Secondly I have w+right w+left set to move and resize the active window to half the screen (left or right). This works nice with my resolution 1680x1050 and 28px high tint2 panel, and leaves a little space. It's a nice workaround if you want some tiling in OB.

Following the mission, Jack became distant and withdrawn, causing his relationship with Teri - already strained by the secret nature of his profession - to suffer, and the two decided to separate six months before Day 1. During their separation Jack had an affair with Nina Myers, his CTU colleague. Shortly before Day 1, Jack moved back in with Teri and Kim and the couple began working in earnest to repair their marriage. Kim remained very resentful towards her mother even after Jack moved back in. ("Day 1: 12:00am-1:00am", "9:00am-10:00am")
With chances of being handed over to the Chinese by President Charles Logan's administration, Jack was forced to go into hiding, not having contact with his daughter Kim, or his lover Audrey Raines. Because of his situation, Jack had to move from location to location often and at random, keeping in touch with only Chloe O'Brian.
As a result of Kim's treatment, Jack survived his imminent death, but continued to receive treatments in New York until two weeks before Day 8. He re-established a loving relationship with Kim, and formed a relationship with his son-in-law, and his granddaughter. Before Day 8, Kim and Stephen decided to move back to Los Angeles for Stephen's work. They asked Jack to move back with him and he contemplated the decision but had not given them a definite answer.
Just after 4:00pm, Jack sat watching cartoons with his granddaughter. When Kim and her husband Stephen arrived, Jack announced that he was going to move back to Los Angeles with Kim as she had asked. Teri was overjoyed when Jack said he would fly back with them tonight. However, after they left Victor Aruz came to Jack's room. An old informant of Jack from when he worked at CTU, he hoped that Jack could help stop an assassination attempt against President Omar Hassan of Kamistan. Jack called Chloe O'Brian at CTU New York and told her about the hit. Director Brian Hastings said he would send a chopper to pick them up. They arrived, but before the chopper could leave it was shot with a rocket launcher by Davros from a building opposite. Jack checked on Aruz, who was close to death. He said that there was someone on the inside close to Hassan, but he died before he could say anything else. And so Jack was drawn back into CTU to assist stopping the threat.
Teri was Bauer's wife during Day 1. Sometime before, Jack and Teri were separated, with Jack living else where and Teri living at their house with Kim. Both eventually reconciled and Jack moved back in. During the events of Day 1, Jack risked everything to save Teri and their daughter. When Teri revealed that she was pregnant with his second child, Jack was became extremely happy to the point of tears. While Teri managed to survive most of the day's events, she was tragically shot and killed by Nina Myers. Her death and the loss of their unborn child would haunt Jack for years, causing him to quit from CTU and go into a depression.
However, Kim went through with therapy, saying that she was not ready to let him go, mainly because she wanted her daughter, Teri to have a grandfather. During Day 8, Kim asked if Jack would move back to L.A. with them. He happily accepted, but out of Kim's urging, he remained behind to solve the day's crisis. This was the last time Kim saw Jack alive.
In a post on the Activision blog, Modern Warfare design director, Geoff Smith, explained how complete one of these executions in a multiplayer match. As in previous games, running up behind an opponent and performing a melee attack will take them out. To perform a finishing move, you simply need to hold the melee button, instead of tapping it.
Stevedroid has created new HUD files that fix the map stretching issue in the HUD. Overall, the HUD still stretches, but this removes the glaring flaw of the map not showing the player's actual position. There are HUD files for 16:9 and 16:10. Unzip and place the mipc28x6_p.gui file in the Override folder found under your main KOTOR 2 installation directory.

Hi. I have a small problem. I have a widescreen laptop which I use as my main GW gaming machine. I checked out all the minimum requirements and seeing as how my machine exceeds them by a wide margin (or so I thought at the time), I decided to start GW in it's maximum resolution. Unfortunately, I found out that my computer doesn't like that, so I tried to reduce the resolution, but this change unfortunately results in a "letterbox slot" effect, with black borders around the screen (this does not carry over into windowed mode). When I further reduced the resolution, it resulted in the letterbox effect being removed, but everything being very grainy. After this little experiment, I figured that the perfect resolution was somewhere between the maximum setting and the lower setting which I tried. Right now, I am able to run the game at maximum resolution with everything except textures set to low, and PPE, V-sync and Antalising off. Don't get me wrong, I still love the game, but I was just wondering, is there any way I can get rid of that annoying letterbox effect? Thanks in advance! --Sageofprofession 05:25, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
Input lag is the amount of time it takes for the monitor to render your input which can then be perceived by your eyeballs. Meaning, if you move your mouse, it will take X number of milliseconds for you to see the cursor move.
By default, Windows 10 includes the new search box in the Taskbar that might be taking some valuable space to fit more pinned apps. If you want to reclaim some space right-click on the Taskbar, select Cortana, and choose to Show Cortana icon only. You can also remove the Cortana and Task View buttons from the same Taskbar menu.
In the Souls games, patience is a virtue. It's best to wait and watch for your enemy's movements, studying them to figure out the opportune times to attack. But Bloodborne's combat is much faster than Dark Souls, and sometimes, you need to go on the offensive. Whenever you get hit, striking back in reaction will let you restore some (or even all) of your lost health, thanks to the Regain mechanic. Instead of backing off whenever you take damage, you'll be rewarded for fighting through some pain in a close battle, or being aggressive when an attack takes you by surprise. Just don't try to take on too many enemies at once, because it's easy to get overwhelmed and end up losing health faster than you can fight to get it back. Speaking of which...

That speaker said that "you cannot counter structural inequality with good will." And I immediately thought of Antonio Gramsci, as one does. One of the greatest Marxist thinkers of the 20th century, Gramsci is best known for writing some 3000 pages of history during his imprisonment by the Fascist Italian government from 1927 until his death ten years later at age 46. Gramsci famously said "I am a pessimist because of intelligence but an optimist because of will." Will, according to Gramsci, is part of a revolutionary praxis. It recognizes the social structure, and it helps us to move deliberately from thinking about to acting for radical change. Will is, for Gramsci, political and intellectual. Will is a strategy, or part of a strategy of struggle. Will is bound of in the politics of hope. Hope is bound up in the politics of will.
Indifference is the dead weight of history. Indifference plays an important role in history. It plays a passive role, but it does play a role. It is fatality; it is something that cannot be counted on; it is something that disrupts programmes, overturns the best made plans; it is that awful something that chokes intelligence. What happens, the evil that touches everyone, happens because the majority relinquish their will to it, allowing the enactment of laws that only a revolution can revoke, letting men rise to power who, later, only a mutiny can remove. 041b061a72
